It's the reason why we often feel like NOTHING WILL EVER WORK FOR US.

Note...I didn't say you had to go low carb, low fat, high protein or anything in between.

Diets out there will tell you carbs are evil. Fats are evil. You need to eat only one ingredient foods.

They honestly try to make eating well as complicated as possible. And the more complicated it is, the more we almost believe them since...well...nothing has worked before!

But really no one thing is specifically "evil" for everyone.

Ever heard the saying, "KEEP IT SIMPLE STUPID"?

Frankly, this is usually correct!

Eating well doesn't have to be complicated. Really EVERY DIET, boils down to one thing....MACROS!

We put in a lot of hard work for everything to fall apart.

It really is those macros we need to dial in first, which in turn, will also help us start to eat more quality foods.

And, yes, calories do matter. 

Overeat and it doesn't matter how healthy the foods are or the macro ratios you're following, you will gain weight. Plain and simple.

Eat less and you'll lose.

BUT what we often don't realize is that our macro ratios can really affect the amount of calories we actually need to get the results we want!

Eating higher protein? The thermic affect of protein may actually allow you to technically eat more calories while still staying in a deficit!

Eating the right ratios for YOU will help you feel fuller for longer and may prevent you from even NEEDING, aka craving, as many calories as you did when you weren't focusing on macros FIRST.
